Bye Pink Assistant and Hello Ms PinayVA

I honestly didn't know that it has been almost a year since I last updated this blog. I remember freaking out and thinking whether I should retain the name "Pink Assistant" or change it for life.  To those of you who has been following my journey and mishaps, last year someone posted a blog about Pink's (yes Pink the singer) stalker and thought I was actually working as Pink's personal assistant.

Without doing some proper research, they immediately posted my photo and tagged me as Pink's Assistant. I should be flattered (or should i?) Since I just a humble Filipina virtual assistant instantly became a hollywood PA. However, the post is false and misleading and not to mention that my clients might actually think its fraudulent. So I have requested them to take down my photo and to proper research first before tagging me. However it seems that the webmaster of the blog didn't actually understand and didn't even bother to edit their post.

That is why I kept silent for almost a year. But I have missed posting blogs about my favorite pink items so I decided to just give my blog a new name and link and also gave it a makeover. I am now saying goodbye to being called as 'pinkassistant" and say hello to Ms.PinayVA.

"Pinay" is a slang word for a Filipina while a VA actually stands for a Virtual Assistant. Somebody who works online similar to a personal secretary the only difference is we work right from the comforts of our home. Yes I am a pink-holic and I enjoy everything pink. I have a pink jelly keyboard, a hot pink desk and pink computer wallpaper... I used to have pink headsets but my daughter tear it up in less than a week after purchase.

I will still continue to update this with pink items, pink gadgets, organising tips from experts and VA postings and tips.
